SPELLING TIC-TAC-TOE

Write each spelling word and
then write a word that rhymes with at least 15 of the words.

Write each word in cursive and
show your parents.

Write each word in
a different color using colored pencils.

Write each word and
then write a synonym for at least 12 of the words. Have your parents check
the synonyms.

Write a
short story and use 10 of the spelling words in your story. Ask a parent to
read your story.

Write all of
your spelling words and then write your own version of a definition for at
least 5 of the words.

Type each word 3 times on
your computer or smartphone and have a parent initial this box if you are not
able to print it.

Write a sentence
for each of your 5 chosen spelling words and use alliteration in the
sentences. Ask a parent to read your sentences.
|
Make up a poem
and use at least 5 of your spelling words in the poem. Read the poem to your parents.
