Comparing and Contrasting Similar Characters

This week I am asking students to compare and contrast two characters with similar traits but the characters must come from different novels.  I chose Tatum from Ice Island and Winnie from Tuck Everlasting.  This is basically a Venn Diagram but with a twist!  I am asking students to write about comparisons and contrasts as if you were writing in a journal.  Also, students will be expected to draw the face/features in colored pencil or marker.  I would like to have a glimpse of how you imagine your characters to look as you read.  Have fun!  This is due on Thursday, Feb 5th.
