Number the Stars


This week we will read Number the Stars as a class novel.  Students will have a vocabulary quiz every five chapters.  The words are below.

 Chapters 12-17 Vocabulary Words

brusque:rough or abrupt in speech
devastating: overwhelmingly terrible
quaver: to tremble (sometimes in your voice)
taut: tightly stretched
