This blog post of my seven year old daughter, Izzy, reading is a wonderful example of reading with expression. Expression makes a story much more enjoyable for the listener. Expression while reading is also a clue that teachers listen for because it shows us that the student reading understands what he/she is reading and knows how to use expression correctly. Now, please enjoy this read aloud by Isabel Klumper.
